d20 mecha SRD pdf - anyone making one?

One may use anything that is open content. That includes everything in either of the two SRDs that we've released plus the open content from our SAS d20 products. That does not include artwork, graphics, nor anything else claimed as product identity (see each individual product to learn what specifically is claimed as product identity). Use of product identity is a breach of the open gaming license and a breach of copyright law.

In short, the d20 Mecha cover is not open and may not be used for anything without written permission.

Please, however, feel free to use the open gaming content that we provide to the open source movement. We support open gaming and hope that people find a use for our open material.

My sincere apologies. I pulled the link as soon as I read Psion's post and realized the cover might not be kosher even for non-commercial use. I also sent GOO a copy of the document to see what they had to say and was instructed to remove the artwork. I have done so and will only be distributing the text of the document, sans any art belonging to GOO or anyone else.

No worries. I made that post partially to make sure you knew our stance (though I was certain Mark (who I assume you contacted) would address that in the private email), but also to make sure anyone else reading this thread also knew the situation. Better to educate many rather than just one. :)

So when and where can I get the new and improved version? :D

Just a quick note, your section 15 is incomplete. The correct text should be:

15. COPYRIGHT NOTICE
Open Game License v 1.0a Copyright 2000, Wizards of the Coast, Inc.
System Reference Document Copyright 2000, Wizard of the Coast, Inc.; Authors Jonathan Tweet, Monte Cook, Skip Williams, based on original material by E. Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson.
Modern System Reference Document Copyright 2000, Wizards of the Coast, Inc.; Authors Bill Slavicsek, Jeff Grubb, Rich Redman, Charles Ryan, based on material by Jonathan Tweet, Monte Cook, Skip Williams, Richard Baker, Peter Adkison, Bruce R. Cordell, John Tynes, Andy Collins, and JD Wiker.
Silver Age Sentinels d20 Copyright 2002, Guardians Of Order, Inc.; Authors Stephen Kenson, Mark C. MacKinnon, Jeff Mackintosh, Jesse Scoble.
BESM d20 Copyright 2003, Guardians Of Order, Inc.; Author Mark C. MacKinnon.
d20 Mecha Copyright 2003, Guardians Of Order, Inc.; Author David L. Pulver.

Just thought I'd let you know so you could correct it and give proper credit to the contributors.

Hey all. We have PDF versions of all the SRDs to date. I was just wondering if anyone was engaged on doing one of the d20 Mecha SRD for the community.

(Yes, I know phil reed has one; that's not what I am talking about. I am talking about free-to-the-community sorts of things.)

Funny you should mention it. I'd just pulled it up (yesterday) as my next SRD project, 'cause it's the shortest of them. No idea on an ETA, but it'll match the look of my D20SRD(3.5), which you can see at <http://www.tiltingatwindmills.net> (go to the Get Free Stuff page), so if you like that, keep your eyes open.

I assume mine's the one that sucks. :)

http://www.pacybersol.com/d20/Anime_d20_SRD_Main.pdf

I did it the day it came out, and just went bolding headers. If there's a better one out there, I'd love a link to it so I can replace mine.

Acrobat's acting up at the moment, so i'm not gonna go take a look at yours to compare. But, now that i think more about it, i think i spoke too hastily--i don't think i've actually seen a PDF of the AnimeD20SRD other than Evil Hat's--it was the Revised D20SRD that had a fairly sucky version come out right quick.

Sorry, don't have a URL handy. Try Google?
