So during lunch today I stop by the friendly neighborhood package store. The wife has become enamored with a wine we had on Valentine's Day, and this is the only place I can find the stuff. Plus, I'm running what will hopefully be the conclusion of Hall of Rainbow Mage Leads to Domains of the Forge for my online game tonight, so I need something for myself. I have plenty of scotch for late in the game, and celebrating/drowning my sorrows if the PCs go the route I expect and end up with a TPK. But I could use some beer.
Made my way over to the big beer fridge. Looked through the usual suspects, Bass, Sam Adams, Samual Smith's, but wanted something a little different. Ah, here it is, 6 packs of Rogue Ale, so do I go with the Dead Guy Ale, the Shakespeare Stout, or the Chocolate Stout. The prices are indicated on little labels on the shelf, so I check, only to find:
"Rouge 8.99"
So the only logical assumption is that the guys who are always making the rogue/rouge mistake on messageboards work at the liquor store. That explains a lot.
