I am loving the d20 minigames in Dungeon/Polyhedron. What I want to know is has anyone posted any of their unique d20 settings on the net for download?

I'm working on a Britannia 3E setting, which you can find here:

http://www.zipworld.com.au/~hong/dnd/britannia/

It's set around the time of Ultima 4, after Exodus has been destroyed but before all that silly business with the Guardian. Still a work in progress, so there'll be updates from time to time.

(As a sidenote, there seems to be no canonical info on how big Britannia is actually supposed to be. If you take the CRPGs literally, it's probably something like 2.5 km on a side in U9, or 10 km in U6. :) I've assumed this is a _real_ continent we're talking about, ie 2-3 orders of magnitude bigger.)

I've always assumed the main landmass was around the size of britain, given that the name is derived therefrom. I've also always assumed there were a number of lesser villages and so forth, not just the few main cities.

Yes, I've tried to run games there before :) Magic system has always given me problems though.

Yeah, but that's not very grand. What's the point of having your own world if you can't indulge in a bit of megalomania? ;)

Natch.

I'm taking the approach of having a D&D campaign set in Britannia, as opposed to an Ultima campaign using D&D rules. In this case, I'm basically using straight D&D rules, except for a few spell list and class mods. The virtues are what's going to be interesting. I've been thinking of using something like the honor setup from Rokugan, but modifying what counts as a good or bad deed.

Later this year, Dumas Games will start offering Polyhedron-like d20 minigames for free on the net. Our first offerings will be Gnomish Space Patrol (d20 cheezy 50's sci-fi, but with gnomes!) and Worlds of Wonder (d20 children's fantasy, which should be capable of supporting Oz, Narnia, Harry Potter, the City of Lost Children, and anything else that strikes my fancy between now and then.)

It's true - in the future, everyone will have their own game company. :)
