A character can use an action maneuver without being proficient with it, incurring a -4 nonproficiency penalty to their rolls. Its 13 pages long, how many maneuvers are there?

Eight. Each one is about a page long, with one (Grinding) requiring two pages. Plus one page of introduction, one page for the cover, one page for the back cover, and one page of printable US Currency.

Seriously, these maneuvers aren't feats. They're robust actions with variable effects depending on how well you pull them off or screw them up. They are by no means a definitive list of all action maneuvers - I don't even think a 1300-page book could cover all of them. But they'll give you a good starting point if you ever want to design your own.

At $2.00, you're paying a quarter per maneuver. And the first time a Fall-Over Dodge saves your character's life, or your Wall-Leap Attack cripples an obnoxious foe, you'll find those quarters to be well-spent. Especially since you won't even have to rework your existing characters to use Action Maneuvers.

It's the feel-good hit of the season!
