Father William finishes his current mouthful of cookies before adding his peace.

"Indeed. I know I would be particularly interested in knowing about any difficulties you anticipate, especially those of a man-made nature. For while I'm sure the Lord has brought me here to ensure that your loved ones recieve a proper Christian burial, we suspect that you chose this partcular servant for his martial prowess as well as his piety"

Froederick fingers his waxed mustache and says 'Well, my Good Lady, it will be nothing at all to retrace your ill-fated trip and accomplish what you require. Why my faithful Steed Beucephelous will get me there in a few days tops if only I could find that dratted Enchanted Battery again, a marvelous device; Why one can go day and night at top speeds with the thig, more's the pity since I just recall that it was stolen by the Caliph of Nehvadah, a dastardly fellow, some might call him an Ogre (which isn't too far from the truth, though i think it's trollish blood in him). Anyways, as I was saying, with said battery, I could make it in...(counts fingers) 3 days? Of course, that would leave the rest of the group far behind, which may be a good thing, considering what dangers seem to follow Erwin and I, eh Erwin? Erwin...?' The Chinchilla (for his part) scampers atop a sofa and begins nibbling on the upholstery, once again ignoring the insane Gnome. The 'Baron' sits down and pulls out a compass, fiddling with it, oblivious to those around him...

"Father William, you are correct, as usual. I feel that each of you has something special to offer this mission." A brief glance at Erwin and Froederick entice her to add softly, "Perhaps some are a little more special than others... "

Finneas listens to the 'Baron' as he rattles on, and then hangs his head -- the short man has obviously spent far too long in the sun. :(

"Do you happen to have a map of the area where the ruins lie, or even better -- a map from your pre-expedition planning," Finneas inquires.

(OOC -- Are we using more or less North American geography? I remember something being said about using N. America as our "continent." If so... where in the heck is Heolstor? :D)

Gen giggles while she reaches for more food. As far as she is concerned people are all crazy aniway, the only difference is that the small one is polite and funny too.

Andrew scowls at the Chinchilla running around on the sofa, little liking what he regards as tame vermin.

"Are we going to need to do much digging? Not to discourage you, lady, but having William bless the ground where they are might be far and away the safest option. We start trying to pull anyone out from under those rocks and we might bring the whole damn place down."

"Digging would be better, in my opinion," Finneas says. "Otherwise, who will we know if anything has happened to the bodies? I'm sure Mrs. Bloome would prefer to know that her husband's earthly remains are safe here in Helostor than being picked over by scavengers."

Finneas pauses for a moment, then continues. "Besides, this area should be charted. If the terrain is unstable, it should be mapped."

Andrew shrugs. "OK, digging, whatever. Just thought I'd raise the problem." He leans further back into his chair, watching the others closely.

Gen looks pretty uncomfortable while she is watched and squrims on her seat. She even stops eating.
