I occasionally have people ask for adventures (and hey who doesn't want more adventures).

Well I wanted to point everyone to a cool adventure. Its by the gentleman who wrote Blood and Guts: In Her Majesty's Service and while it doesn't require that book or the main BNG book its very compatible with them and would make a great starting point for a BNG campaign.

Just picked it up tonight and it looks rather cool--might be good thing to run while I work out the details on my Eberron campaign.

Cool :)

I don't stand to make a dime of Raid on Ashkashem except for incidental support to Blood and Guts. However Fraser is a heck of a guy who wrote a nice supplement for us and I wanted to help out in a small way.

Plus I've run it and its a good adventure.

Mr. Ronald was nice enough to write a story, called "Target of Opportunity," as a prequel to Raid on Ashkashem. This story was featured in the first issue of MODERNIZED. I'm glad to see this adventure out there, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!

Combined with the "Blood and Guts" for $5 coupon in the latest Modern Dispatch, it was an offer I just couldn't refuse. Really good job on that book, Chuck. I look forward to seeing how d20 modern handles this kind of scenario.

I may buy this and "Shots Rang Out". Now, anyone want to do a Modern monster book?

PS I bought it. It's called "Raid on Ashkashem".

Modern monster books, huh?

In Spring 2005, ARP will be releasing "Modern Elementals", taking the creature theme of mystical creatures made of the elements and applying them to the real world scientific elements. One of these creatures, the Radon Elemental, will be making an appearance in the first volume of Lost Destinations, which comes out near the end of the month. That will have a bunch of other creatures in it too, like the Hookerman ghost, trail stalker (both based on ghost stories native to NJ) and cannon fungus.

The second volume of Lost Destinations will be a short booklet based entirely around the Jersey Devil. That will be out in time for halloween.

Slightly off topic, i would like to see a book that takes modern monsters (nessie, yeti, bigfoot, mothman, wendigo, men in black, greys, molemen, ghosts, poltergeists...) and present them with different "takes" on what they are, exactly, and what they can do. That way players are left guessing what it is they are seeing. for instance, if the players encounter nessie, and when "she" rears her ugly head, players can say: "Thats no dinosaur."
