I am thinking of combining elements of the Pulp Heroes mini-game with parts of Forbidden Kingdoms and D20 Modern to create a D20 Pulp campaign. The one thing I could use some serious advice on is classes: how to take the 20-level classes from Pulp Heroes and FK and turn them into 10-level advanced classes for D20 Modern. I figure the FK prestige classes will remain prestige classes. I want to use the D20 Modern rules for firearms, martial arts, psionics, magic etc.. I will likely use the Weird Science rules from FK in preference to the way they do it in Pulp Heroes. I'll use the D20 Modern hit point system.
Any comments (especially those with examples on the class thing) would be most appreciated.
