Because it makes it so much easier for people who play any d20 game to get into any Living campaign because they already know most of the rules. It's not about the worlds; it's about managing massive multiplayer tabletop RPG campaigns in the most effective manner possible, and anything that works towards that goal is a Very Good Thing. I hope that other organizations follow suit.How on earth does standardisation between two different game worlds make a difference?
