kobold said:Now the real point of this post- seems there are some who think its possible to use D20 to run a Glorantha campaign.
So can we start to reall put forth some ideas about how? I'd really appreaciate it, and would enjoy working with others ona project like this.
A good idea NC, and to help things along here we go:ninthcouncil said:What do you think the best way of handling it would be? Here or somewhere else, e.g. a Yahoo group. How many people here are actually interested?
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/d20glorantha/Well, here's a place to hang our bronze cap! To get things rolling, let me tell folks a bit about my Glorantha background. I've played RQ (2nd Ed.) off & on for years. I have always loved the system & the setting. I own Cults of Prax, Cults of Terror, 2nd Ed. Rules, & Pavis/Big Rubble (original). I also have some other Chaosium materials including the original Stormbringer & 5th ed. CoC.
This group is unmoderated & open. I don't have time to monitor every post, so I will trust that people will be polite & on-topic.
I think this group should start by:
-deciding what aspects of the setting should or shouldn't be included in the conversion
-what can be ported directly from 3e and other existing d20 materials
-how much of the system mechanics should be adopted from RQ v. 3e, etc.
There! That's my 2 clacks. Have at it, boys & girls.
