You're lucky to have the time to even learn Champions, much less play it.)

I learned Champions about 12/14 years ago...As I remember, I was lucky to get in with a good group of people and it didn't take long to learn.

With the right group of folks Champions doesn't take any longer to learn then D&D 3E....Making a well balanced character may take a little longer, for a new person, but it's a lot easier then people think.
