d20M oopsies

WotC's bitch
No, I don't mean the _big_ changes like firearms, massive damage, etc. But I did notice some small changes from D&D 3E on flipping through the book:

- bonuses with the same type still don't stack (in general), but penalties always stack, regardless of type

- Max Dex bonus to AC and check penalties for encumbrance are replaced by a flat cap on your Dex bonus

Any others?

Oh, I'm not saying they're mistakes. Just small things that might trip up someone who's used to 3E and hasn't read the d20M fine print.

Would "d20M wedgies" be better?

I thought they did that in D&D anyway?

Heres one,

Getting up from prone does not provoke an attack of opportunity in D&D, but I believe it does in D20 Modern.

Finally, a reason to take Improved Trip.

IIRC, the flat 10% chance to stabilize from dying was replaced by a Fort save (DC 20).

Cool. that's been a house rule of mine in DnD for about a year and a half (although I think that we set the DC to 19).
