I'm up for coming and playing in both games... if DonAdam will give me a lift ;-)

I also would not mind running a game... perhaps a preview of the setting I'm working on... Nevermore... but that is only if we need another slot...

Take Care,
Joseph Miller

Around 9:00 I'd like to start playing board/card games, since I'll be wiped out from that much roleplaying, and I'd like to get back to Irving by midnight. I'll bring Kung Fu Samurai on Giant Robot Island.

We'll see how late we have the rec room for, might be that we won't have it that late. I was thinking Slot 2 would be the end, though I'd be all for going to get something to eat and share some stories afterward.

Does the UD Dragon Club meet often? I'm looking to get into some board gaming, as I love playing German style board games. I might bring one I'm developing to playtest after the Gameday if there's some interest. :)

Cool Joseph, didn't know "That Guy" was from around here.

GMs, if you want to run a game, please let me know which slot. :D You can always change it around if something opens up that you're interested in.

Whole club meetings are rare (once a semester), after that people divide up into campaigns or schedule game nights via email.

I don't think setting up regular or individual board game nights would be a problem.

If you're interested in coming to the meeting and/or getting on the email list just drop me a line. We're always cool with non-student gamers participating (especially ones that write super-swell books:D).

Count me in for this. Ive never played Midnight or Arcana Unearthed. Nor, have I ever been to a gathering of gamers I did not know for the intent of playing games. Nor, have I begun a sentence with the word nor before. Man Im busting out of my comfort zone all over the place. Plus, thats a three day weekend for me, yeah.

Sweet, looks like Sunday is good for most everyone!

Derek, can you look into renting the bank's room for that day?

I've posted the Slot times and put my own game in Slot One. Potential DMs please let me know what slot and game system you'd like to run, and give any info on the game (pre-gen characters, # of players, etc...). If you are running a Slot 2 game then you have some freedom as far as time goes, although there will certainly be limits imposed by the room rental and by people's work schedules. Once the slot is full I'd suggest asking people how long they want to play.

I for one would like to play in a good, long AU game if Don Adam's up for it. :)

Looks like this is going to happen!

Done! (Sorry, I 've been at work)
I have reserved the Community Room from 9a to midnight, Sunday, September 28th! Weirdly enough, my bank is expanding into the community room starting in October so this will be the last event in the room.

I'll start putting together a Living Greyhawk schedule over the next couple of days. With the amount of DMs I know, there could easily be 4 DMs running LG simultaneously!

Also, I talked to Reaper and they had no problem with offering prizes. :)

It's good to go!

Sweet Derek, thanks! Sounds like we've got the start of a great weekend! How much was it to rent the room?

I think CMG Mark offered some prizes too, and I might just have a copy or two of something around here. :)

Now all we need is people! Please, if you want to run a game let us know what slot, # of people, and game details (you can reserve a DM slot even if you don't know the game details yet, just let me know!). So far we have a couple of people that could run but haven't reserved a slot:

Sam Witt
Joseph "That Guy" Miller

I'm really looking forward to an awesome day of gaming!

OK, I'm joining Jeremy757 in breaking out of my comfort zone. Count me in, and I'll even run a T20 game. Better make it slot No. 2 -- I'm not a morning person. I'll just run a grumpy dwarf in the morning slot, then I'll be ready to go for the afternoon. :)

Don't have any details yet on the adventure, other than it will be pregenerated characters, and it will be for 6-8 characters. And don't worry if you've never played Traveller before -- it's d20 rules, everyone will catch on quickly.

You can count on it! I think it's great you guys are getting a full blown gameday going in Texas. I always see a lot of folks on these boards from around there so I'll bet it'll be fantastic. I'll keep my eyes open and see how big this gets and make sure to offer up some appropriate prizes (electronic, of course! ;) )
