One of these days, I'm gonna organize a Waxahachie Game Day, dammit. :)

If you put together a Waxahachie Game day I would certainly try to show up. Though my wife might not be as interested in that one, since it is where my parents live.

I don't really like the idea of holding an event in a public space like a restaurant. Derek's Denton bank room might be just the place, I'm fairly certain most people wouldn't mind a $2 kicker to rent the room.

What hours would the room be available for, Derek?

If nothing else, I know there was an Arlington AD&D Club that used one of the recreation centers to play every other Saturday. Rec center rooms are another option, certainly, it's just too bad we don't have a Games Plus type store down here.

So far it looks like the 27th is the favored time, although we haven't really heard from too many people yet.

The last I checked the community room had been booked by one person from 10a to midnight so I don't think we'll have any kind of problem there. ;)

I don't mind the last weekend of Sept. but it would be easier on me if it were on Sunday the 28th as that's my one day off. Also, I could schedule a "slot zero" a Saturday night event for DMs who'd like to play a Living Greyhawk module and then run it the next day for other people.

I'm sure I can get some prize support for this event as well from several sources including Reaper Minis.

Let me know what you think!

I'm interested in reading more about Living Greyhawk (and, out of curiousity, do people ever play normal Greyhawk campaigns?)

Hey Zogg, check out www.rpga.com and look for the Living Greyhawk links. Everything you want to know about Living Greyhawk can be found there.

I would be absolutely no help in organizing, but we can arrange to be in Dallas for whichever date it is, even if only David and his nephew end up attending.

That Sunday would also work well for us.

I'm pretty sure Saturday is the best day to do it, especially for those who work during the week or will have a long drive.

I think we have enough confirmations on the 27th to do it then, so let's work from that assumption from here on out.

Derek, can you still make it to run something if it's on a Saturday?

Speaking of that, who else wants to jump in and GM? I'll go ahead and start doing a schdule like the others do in the first post.

No, sorry. I have to work on Saturday. I can run slot zero events at the store on Saturday for those who would be willing to run Living Greyhawk on Sunday. On Sunday I can easily run 2 to 3 RPGA mods which would be 8 to 12 hours of gaming depending on the modules.

Also, I don't know how many gamers this will effect, but Sat. the 27th is Rosh Hananah.

Then sign me up for whatever you're running :)

I'll also be happy to run something, probably AU (Fine Print off Diamond Throne or one of the GenCon modules, if I can get a hold of one)

So, is everyone open for Sunday the 28th or are you all set on the 27th?

If it's the 28th I can get a venue, set up some more prize support and run 8 to 12 hours of Living Greyhawk. I'd really love to help! :D
