You know, it occurs to me that Dancing is an awesome frickin' enhancement for Huge weapons.

That brings another point to mind...

Does a dancing weapon count as "unattended" for the purpose of spells cast upon it, or does it still use its "masters" saving throws?

I would say it counts as 'attended' while it is dancing. You are not holding it, but it has tostay within range, and it is working based on your BAB. While it isn't touching you, neither is an ioun stone.
