I was actually going to post a thread about this today - very strange.

I say "E-N World" (because they're initials) - but I know many people that basically say "EN" as a single world (en-world)...

For the record, the correct way is "E - N World" (initials). However, in my experience, 90% of people say "enworld". They're all wrong, though! :)

Well - as good as it feels to be right (;)) - this raises another question:

Is it the "Ennies" or the "E-N-ies"? I heard it said both ways last year at Gen Con...

So, Sagiro's SH was archived, but not Wulf's. :( Sadness.

Also, I found it amusing to look at my own profile. I didn't remember that I signed up on New Year's Eve, though I'm sure I was lurking before that.

Ah, now they're pronounced "ennies" - just to make things more confusing!

Strange.

I thought it stood for Eric's NUDE World. Just so you could increase your traffic.

Actually, I never even paused to think what the EN world stood for.

ENglish World.

EN (French in) World.

Everybody's Nuts World.

Evangical Nun's World.

Envy Nation World.

Evergreen Nymph World.

Maybe EN is just a strange coincidence they WANT us to believe they planned the entire time.

I never understood why my gaming group says "enworld" instead of saying the initials.

E.N. World, of course. Although, technically, it should be E.N.'s World, right? :p

Bye
Thanee

P.S.
My message boards are quite active. I currently have separate forums for general discussion, conversion, and 3E software.

And just to sow confusion...

E.N. Publishing doesn't stand for the illustrous Eric Noah...

But to date, no one has successfully guessed what it does stand for.

---

One guess per person only, please. Anyone successfully guessing what it does stand for will receive a significant quantity of free product from E.N. Publishing, including some of our older print releases through MEG, not as a prize, but as a bribe to keep quiet about it in order to keep it a mystery.
