Orc, I'm so happy you noticed my fish! A lot of little things in the comic are slipped in just for that effect. Keep looking, there are more.

Theskyfullofdust, I use photoshop mostly. I usually start with a pencil sketch and then finish it in PS. I have been known to use illustrator from time to time though.

Just curious - why is this described as "D&D(3.5)"-based, rather than just fantasy RPG-based?

Mostly I specify because I'm using the 3.5 rules for character abilities and story hooks.
For the most part, the comic will follow the rules of D&D 3.5/Pathfinder for combat and spell casting.
You should be able to line up everything that happens and treat it as a 3.5 adventure, which is what the story is based on.
