as a lover and survivor of a three year dark sun campaign this makes me so happy.

aside from the massive change to psionics rules the setting still holds a lot of excitement for me.

i cannot wait to unleash it upon my gaming group in the future.

What is in that Dark Sun 3 pdf, briefly? Is it like a player's guide to Dark Sun for 3e?

Is this the first time said file has been made available?

It's the not-quite-final version of the DS 3E conversion. It was put up on the site a couple of days ago, according to their news page.

Yeah, it's the "not-quite-final" version. In a month or so, we'll update with 3.5E compliance and fix whatever typos and errors are found.

But it's a players / DM's guide. However, it contains mostly rules; for setting stuff, go to SVGames where you can buy AD&D Dark Sun products as PDFs. For ~5$US, it's worth it.

But i thought that White Wolf had aquired the rights and would publish a 3E version, or was this only a rumour?
