DarkMatter d20?

Oh, at one time I also had a website that let you log into the OSIRS server and check case files. It was pretty slick in terms of authenticity and features but was dwarfed by another project's usability and community.

That was really cool. :)

Are you the OSIRS.net guy?

It was a genius concept, that site, but it hasn't been updated in something like four years and parts of the code seem broken or at least don't work with newer browsers, so that I couldn't use it.

I used to use it for all of my Dark*Matter games. Everybody loved it.

WotC had a Hoffmann Institute Web site at that URL when Dark*Matter first came out.
I figured they did. I just wish they'd put it back or something. Web suport for d20 Modern has become scant of late.

Ran across that site when I started my D•M campaign last year. I used it for the first couple adventures and encouraged my players to bring their laptops to the table.

But between the amount of time it took to make pretty breifings, and the difficulty we had staying logged in to the site, It just didn't work out.

Yea. That's what I was saying. It got so that I was only logged in for a few moments, not long enough to write much of an email, which sort of ruined what I was really using it for.

No, I think that's the one that caught on instead of mine. I don't really remember where I had mine. What I did was offer a update for your hosts file so it would hijack http
://hoffmanninstiture.org/ on yuor machine, so you could go to http
://hoffmanninstiture.org/osirs for more authenticity. It also mirrored the actual site so that was there as well.

Actually, I'd be tempted to write a new version if anyone else was interested in helping me out (mainly with graphics and design which I'm not too good at). Anyone up for it send me an e-mail at user@domain where user=reanjr and domain=reanjr.org or gmail.com
