Are you asking what their respective avatar's are, specifically? Or are you asking what are avatars in general?

If you mean specifically:

Darkness' avatar can be seen next to each of his posts (or not, if you have that turned off in your user control panel). Anyone's avatar can be seen by clicking on their profile even if you have Avatar's turned off in posts (via the user cp as mentioned above).

I think his question is infinitely simpler than that. Given that he has an avatar himself, it's unlikely that he doesn't know what one is or how to find someone else's.

I imagine his question is more along the lines of The Forsaken One's original post ("That new avatar of yours, for crying out loud!"), to which he is replying "You're commenting on Darkness' avatar, when you have one that look like that!".

AAAH! Okay - makes sense now. Seeing how I have avatar display turned off, I didn't even realize he had an avatar himself
