Darkstalker Feat, Lords of Madness

Hello all, not sure if this has been addressed before but here goes. I have a question about the Darkstalker feat concerning a Ninja. If I use Ghost Step to turn invisible and move to attack an enemy with Scent, Tremorsense, Blindfighting, etc. does the Darkstalker feat disallow the enemy to pinpoint me without rolling Spot/Listen?!?

The way I understand the Darkstalker feat:
When you hide, creatures with blindsense, blindsight, scent, or tremorsense must roll a Listen or Spot check to notice you.

Since I'm not technically hiding (as in using the Hide skill) just invisible does it count as hiding?

If that is the way the feat is worded, the feat works when you hide. Being Invisible helps with hiding, it is not hiding itself.

Total cover or total concealment usually (but not always; see Special, below) obviates the need for a Hide check, since nothing can see you anyway.

Special
If you are invisible, you gain a +40 bonus on Hide checks if you are immobile, or a +20 bonus on Hide checks if you’re moving.
