Darwin's World vs D20 Apocalypse?

Here's another vote for using both. Like Cutter said, it's not tough to incorporate the DW2 mutations into the D20 Future/Apoc framework. Apoc also has a Template called Viral Deathspawn that are very much like the various movie zombies. Apoc and Future both have a lot of bits and pieces that fit well in DW2. Though I don't have it, I've heard great things about Redline as well.

Blood and Brains and Year of the Zombie also has good material for games with a zombie element.

Lots of options for PA games in D20 Modern.

Not true. Darwin's World 2 also requires you to have D20 Modern.
Ai! Sorry I wasn't clearer, I did phrase it awfully. I didn't mean to imply that DW2 didn't need anything else or that it didn't need D20 Modern, but rather that D20A will need D20 Future (in addition to D20 Modern that both will need), especially to make full use of the mutations rules.

Neither- what you want is Redline from FFG. It is The Roadwarrior in rpg format (plus the zombies and mutants you want as well). And it is cheaper than d20A and DW.

I'd also like to add my voice to the chorus saying "get both!"

Darwin's world has some great stuff, like a raider advanced class, for instance, that d20 Apocalypse doesn't have, but d20 Apocalypse has the TU barter system, the viral deathspawn template.(george romero/28 days later/resident evil zombies) The expanded jury-rigging rules, etc are also nice. In short, you're probably best off getting both. d20 apocalypse says you need d20 future to use it, but really the MSRD is more than sufficent. (The only thing you'll be missing is the nuclear nomad advanced class, which, given the road warrior, lawbringer, evolutionary, and salvager advanced classes, the wealth of material in Darwin's world, etc. isn't really all that necessary.)

Redline's decent, but its incompatability without some serious conversion work with d20 modern really limits the ease of incorporation of material not in the book. And the book isn't that thick.

Except Redline has all the ingredients the original poster wants, all in one small wonderfully complete book. What's to incorporate outside of it that doesn't already do, based on the requirements asked for?

I have Redline and it does indeed have all of those elements. I just personally wish that it had conversion notes for d20 Modern. Anyone out there care to take on that task??? :)
I just really like DW and D20 Apoc for all of the additional data that they provide.
For a limited budget though Redline should meet the needs of someone looking for a fairly simple, inclusive PA Roadwarrior esque game.

Except he doesn't want just Road Warrior.

The rip-offs had lots more mutants and wackiness than the Road Warrior ever did.

Then again, I'm not familiar with Redline at all.

Good Point Cutter. ;)
Redline's classes remind me very much of Road Warrior, which is why I wish they had d20 Modern conversions for them. Radiation is called The Creep, and while Redline does have mutation rules they are not nearly as detailed or extensive as DW.
I don't recall there being any Zombies in Redline, but it wouldn't be too hard to work them in.
Didn't someone put out a Zombie Biker PA RPG last year? I think it was in PDF only??
