DCC RPG Chained Coffin kickstarter

I was already interested in the Chained Coffin when it was announced at Gen Con.

About the module:
A whispered voice calls from a coffin bound in chains, urging the heroes into the depths of the Shudder Mountains, a place rife with superstition and forlorn secrets. In the shadowy, pine-grown valleys of the Deep Hollows lurk mysteries of a bygone age and a new evil emerging from the ruins of the past. The adventurers must plumb the mountains’ secluded reaches to root out this rising terror before its power comes to fruition. Standing in their path are cackling witches, subtle devils, lingering spirits, and a foul thing that moves in the night.

Inspired by Manley Wade Wellman stories.

The module will now also include a small a mini-gazetteer on the Shudder Mountains regions. If enough funding happens the module, gazetteer, a map, more adventures including a 0-level funnel with new occupations, and other stuff will end up in a boxed set according to the linked podcast interview.

I already use a lot of DCC modules for D&D Next. $30 for the spinning wheel prop, while cool, might have been too much. But if all this other stuff gets funded it would be a mini-campaign for DCC RPG all in one box.

Anyone else think this module and extras sounds interesting?

Yes it does, and the extras are starting to sound good as well. Though maybe a bit to high for me.

Note that as part of the kickstarter you can add other DCC adventures at 20% off, just noticed that on the kickstarter.

They've done a wheel prop as part of an adventure before, Monte Cook wrote an adventure that was a spinning tower with three inner wheels that spun around changing the map.

Plus DCC #75 is on sale to support the kickstarter.

[h=1]DCC #75: The Sea Queen Escapes On Sale for Only $3.00![/h]To celebrate our Kickstarter for DCC #83: The Chained Coffin, we are offering a special discount on another DCC module by the same author! Michael Curtis wrote DCC #75: The Sea Queen Escapes, a level 3 adventure. The characters are sent to face the nefarious schemes of the deep, including a wizard’s sanctum, a magical prison, and the most unusual dungeon they’ve ever faced! And now you can get this module in PDF form for only $3.00. But act fast, the offer ends when the Kickstarter ends at the end of May!
And while we are discussing adventure author Michael Curtis, we encourage you to check out his latest project! DCC #83: The Chained Coffin is currently live on Kickstarter. Why Kickstart a DCC module? Well, DCC #83 includes a special puzzle that involves three spinning dials on a door...and we would like to manufacture the module to include a set of dials that actually spin! This is a great chance to back a fun prop that will give your DCC players an even more exciting adventure experience. Search “Chained Coffin” on Kickstarter to find it!
P.S. Apologies if you received this email twice. Our first email communication yesterday had some technical difficulties so some customers may receive two emails.
