I am running some season 2 stuff while my players wait for more season 3 to come out. We are looking forward to No Foolish Matter next week, but I have backups. This last week, we ran Dark Rites at Fort Dalton and several people wanted to spend Downtime (they have a ton of days) at the end to dig up buried treasure. One player dug up the scroll tube for Fei Chen's Faire, with the potion attached.
My question is this: This player isn't ever going to an event with a Faire, let alone likely to play outside of the store. Is there some treasure I can substitute in to simulate what he would have earned from that? What sorts of things can you get from that scroll tube?
It'd be annoying for me as a DM to just have him earn something useless from spending all those days and a decent roll. What can I do, within regulations?
