I much prefer the portability and pricing of the electronic copy to having dead-tree copy full of advertisements and costing significantly more per issue.

How people are informed errata has been applied.

Non-color intensive print options. NO reason that borders have to be in color. Heck, no reason borders have to exist save that they "look" good.

WoTC efforts have been good. For a third party publisher. Not good for WoTC standards. All my own opinion of course.

Hello, I have been anxiously awaiting the release of the D&DI Character Visualizer.

I would greatly apreciate more information about it's current production status. Mainly, an estimation of when it will be available.

"The Visualizer is still under development. We will have a version of it running at GenCon that we will let people use. If you think it will help, I can try to get some video of people using it at GenCon and post it on youtube, just to give those that aren't going to GenCon and idea of how it looks."

Usually at the end of the month, when the magazines get compiled. Having said that, I expect the earlier releases to have errata while the latter of the month releases not so much (less feedback time, less time to input necessary errata).

They're not. Could be considered a failure on WotC's part.

I expect they're there precisely because of the reasons you pointed out. Some people are complaining that the current Dragon/Dungeon layout/art isn't up to par with the print magazines and that's true (the layout takes on a more functional/ease-of-use design aesthetics). But that doesn't mean WotC doesn't put effort into the design and go beyond than just giving us text on, say, Microsoft Word.

Personally, it's down to personal printer settings. I use the black and white settings on my printer.

No, not so much that anyone does... But simply that there's an overwhelming amount of posts that seem to think it is really a great idea, and more specifically that it's a really great idea when wizards are still offering precious little compared to what they promised we would receive.

What would be fair for less than 5 bucks per month -- the whole suite of utilities, plus the magazines? How much does the average person pay per month for their internet connection? For their cable/satellite? Their movies? The average movie ticket is more than 5 dollars for one person for an afternoon matinee. Two whole magazines' worth of content for five dollars is actually a competitive rate with most other digital magazines like Popular Mechanics - I just checked and they're about $2.50 per issue!

It's a fair price -- for someone who intends to play 4e D&D.

Yep. Sounds like they're really starting to feel it on the economic side and need to have some revenue coming in or the entire project could be in jeopardy of getting the ax.

Pretty much my take as well.
