DDI: Skill Powers

While I wait to get home to update my character builder, I did start reading this:

Dragon 379: Skill Powers

Utility powers that you can swap for your class utility powers by being trained in particular skills. Already seem pretty cool (and strong).

I like this mechanic a lot. Combat-oriented characters might be hard pressed to swap out a class Utility power that they count on to get around the battlefield, but some of the effects are cool and (useful in combat). Skill-oriented characters will love these: a Bard or priestly Cleric could get deep with the Diplomacy SPs, and movement-related ones will be neat for Rogues.
