Joy... Funny how we were told the revised GSL was "very soon" last time we heard anything about it, yet they have no problem getting this out...

Please. DDI is just an combination of reviews, complicated software, and a host of other tightly integrated parts working in perfect harmony to achieve a brighter future for the gamers of this wonderful planet.

The GSL...that's legal stuff man! Of course its going to take longer

Hmmm...perhaps there are different teams of people working on these two things?

I also echo the note that it's a little frustrating to be told that this is all going to happen with no link to actually sign up for it - hopefully this will go up later today. Once it does I'm sure it'll be noted on here!

As per the link:

D&D Insider subscriptions will go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday, October 14). We will begin updating our web pages around 8 a.m. Pacific time, and we expect to be done by midday.

We were also told that Scott had taken on Linae's workload as well as his own, and it would be several weeks before he would have time to finalize it.

And that doesn't even take into account that the teams involved in getting the GSL ready (brand management and legal) are not the same team that is involved with the DDI (digital products).

I think the RPGA articles should remain free. Especially if you're trying to grow the hobby. Isn't membership into the RPGA still free?
