Did anyone else catch the "this Seeker idea was the first martial(ish) controller idea good enough" mention?

That is, did anyone else but me interpret this as "now that the Seeker is out, people wanting a martial controller have got what they will ever get"? That the Seeker makes a true martial (non-magical) controller (even more) unlikely?

From everything I've read about the Seeker and Dev ideas about a martial controller is that....

1) they haven't come up with anything they like.
2) they haven't had a chance to add a Martial controller because it doesn't fit into any of their products they are currently working on.
3) a little of both 1 and 2.

I think they are most likely leaning towards 1 and not wanting to release a class just to fill that slot. I am sure when they get an idea that clicks they will find somewhere to release it.
