DDM - collected Deathknell previews

And preview 7 is up! Renegade Warlock, Catfolk Wilder, and Dragonblade Ninja -- all of them being Chaotic Good. And wearing black.

Along with the question, "are catfolks a subrace of elves?" because it's said the catfolk wilder mini can be used for a catfolk bladesinger...

Next preview will be titled "At the Sign of the Thug, Sneak, and Frog." I guess the frog is the bullywug already seen.

Two words: dire bear!

The last picture? Mmm... i didn't find it that nice :\

However the new Warlock and Ninja previews have nice poses indeed, although it's hard to make them pass for good guys.

Here are extracted and rotated pics of the Nerull and Kenku from the box. Until WotC make an official snap of them for their miniature gallery, they could be used in Merric's Death Knell gallery.

We now know (with pictures) 24 of the 60 minis, and know of 6 others without pictures (ettin, burning fire skeleton, necromancer, skeleton warrior, vampire spawn, warpriest of Hextor). Only 30 to go! Among which are 4 to 6 undead (13 undead total, the eight known undead being Boneclaw, Death Knight, Mummy Lord, Zombie White Dragon, Burning Fire Skeleton, Skeleton Warrior, Vampire Spawn, and, if you count it among undead, the Undying Soldier, and maybe, just maybe, the Necromancer).

I believe Mike Donais stated that the Skeleton Warrior reference was intended to be Warrior Skeleton which is an existing mini.

Are there even stats for the 2e Skeleton Warrior in 3.x?

The nerull mini really rocks. A wicked glowing scythe of pure energy and it would have been perfect.

I'm happy that they have a warlock in there, too.

Hm.. I have mixed feelings for that mini. First, Catfold haven't appeared in any of our campaigns (though we have a halfling were-puss in one of our games, she might be able to use this for her hybird form), and making one of the psionic minis a catfolk is - well, waste of psionics.

And that bladesinger statement is rubbish if you ask me (no offense to the writer of the artikle.) Not only is that a cat, not an elf, it also has two swords. Bladesingers need one hand free.

But the mini does look cool

Seems that they'll redo the human thug there, maybe the goblin sneak, too?
