DDM Minis: Do you stow them away or put them on display?

I received some minis for Christmas (2 Blood Wars boosters) and have a small collection of them from my starter set and Underdark boosters. I am curious as to how other gamers deal with their DDM minis. Do you put them on display or stow them away?

For those of you that put your DDM minis on display, do you put the minis in some sort of prtection box so that they dont get dusty? If so where can I find some. I find that some dice containers work well for minis that are medium size or smaller work, but not too sure about how to store the other ones (like the bronze dragon from Blood Wars).

For those that stow their DDM minis away, what do you use to store your minnis in? Currently the ones I have that aren't on display I find I can stuff 16 minis in one booster box.

Stow away.

They all go into an old shoe-box. The ones I use the most (for example, the PC minis) are in a seperate zip-lock bag that is also in the shoe-box.

The shoe-box goes under the credenza in the dinning room where we play. So its double-stowed away.

We have our collection on the shelves of the bookcases in the game room. Between the two families we have well over several hundred figures, mostly the old lead ones that were hand painted while our eyes were still good enough for the detail work. They get dusty but we wash them off once a year.

I have a lawyer's bookcase that I store / display (it has glass doors) all of my pewter mini's in. My growing collection of plastic D&D mini's now occupies the entire top hafl of a bookshelf.

For traveling, I use a large tacklebox for minis. The little plastic dividers allow me to catagorize them efficiently.

I had a shoebox. Then two. Then four. Then six. Now I just have them all on shelves in my gaming room, much easier to find and use.

I stow mine (not actually DDM, but minis is minis). Of course, it really feels as if they spend most of their time sitting around on the project table in various stages of unfinished painting... :(

The bigger ones or neater ones I have on my shelf. (Slaad, demons, mounted folks)

The generic humans or oddball stuff is in a couple boxes that were designed for ornaments or something.

The Miniature Alley team I keep in front of my computer along with the dragons.

The main thing I'm having problems with is actually the cards. I'm not buying a binder for them, but finding a nice box to keep them in seems to be more trouble than I had figured.
