I bought 3 cases of GOL's and just barely made 1 complete set.
Buying cases is also cheaper, averaging $12 per booster. I think it's wrong making "kids" & lower income people who most likely can only afford to buy per booster at a time (spending what is it, $19 retail?) spend a fortune just to have a complete 72 mini set.
If it averages 3 cases to build a 72 mini set, and you have to spend $720 just for a 72 figure set and have 252 spare minis left over, that's wrong. The randomization process just rubs me the wrong way. I don't mind it being random, but not that random. I'll be glad to see that curbed a little this next time.
The price they sell the boosters at doesn't bother me. The minis are very nice and well worth the price. It's the overall price it ends up costing you just to make a set that's the problem. People still buy them like crazy though, so WotC knows what they're doing.
