DDN needs more gods!

Now don't take this the wrong way. As far as gods to worship there is ALOT of them. What i think we need to see in DDN is more god templates for us to do battle with.

All we really saw was lolth, buhanmut, timat and vecna, as combat worthy gods, but there are so many other gods out there that could easily be used to make a encounter with. I want to see more of this.

Aren't they enemies for last level or two? I could see the need for them, but not in the core books, but rather in a year or so after the base game is published.

i agree with that, i don't want them in core books, not unless they are like the big evil gods (bane, grummash ext) then the others can show as it is needed
 

Ehhhh, perfect example of an optional module, because to a lot of people, gods should NOT be a combat challenge, but instead a setting element.
 



I think the system should not have a default set of deities, but should support Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, Eberron, etc, as well as an option for homebrew deities.
