Dead Baaz as an obstruction

Is it feasible at this stage to make it a stone bridge? That way you can make it much narrower and also believably give it no sides (or low sides that impede statue moving but not PC falling).

My justification is that the dead baaz would fall over and get tangled in the ropes. Between the arms, legs, and wings, it did not seem unreasonable. A stone bridge could have worked too, if I judged no railing. However, I wanted the option for the players or the opponents to cut the bridge down.
