Wow, with only one choice and so many good options up there, it makes choosing just one rather difficult. I went with Forgotten Realms because in the scheme of things it has been the most influential to me, so that affects my view on settings that made a difference.

FR is a well-supported setting (sometimes too much so!) and given the chance offers a little bit of something for everyone should they choose to look for it.
