Death Urge + Deja Vu' (is this right?)

Well since it automatically scores a crit, it smells like a Coup De Gras to me. I would say only one hit.

But then again, this is one of those powers that make me disallow Psionics in my game. As a result, I really don't know much about Psionics... ;-(

Note that it spells out that it's a crit, but doesn't say anything about a coup de grace. That indicates that indeed, there is no CdG going on.

IMO, death urge is the psionic version of phantasmal killer. Both give a Will save to negate the effect entirely, and then gives you some serious hurting and possibly killing you. The difference is that death urge works best against opponents with strong melee attacks (who usually also have good Fort saves), while that kind of opponent tends to be a poor choice of target for phantasmal killer.

The target attacks itself as a full-round action. Doesn't say that it takes the full-attack action anywhere.

But the only attack you can make during a full-round action IS a full-attack. And if you have multiple attacks, you have to take them all during a full-attack action.

If you have multiple attacks because your base attack bonus is high enough, you must make the attacks in order from highest bonus to lowest.

You don't *have* to take them, actually.

There's nothing that says you can't take the Full Attack action and then just not finish it. In fact, in many cases, you'll take the Full Attack action and not be able to finish it even if you wanted to, for want of targets.

Furthermore, when attacking an inanimate object, you can use a full-round action to line up a single shot, so there is precedence for a single attack taking a full-round action.

Cool combo. I never noticed how great deja vu really is.

In fact, you could just keep manifesting deja vu and keep making the guy repeat his action. That's quite the effective lock... does require an action on your part and a failed save on his part, but still. Damn.

Yeah, the upside is that it cost less PP to use (once you get the initial Death Urge off). The downside being that the save will be slightly lower.

I've seen this posted before.

I'd say no and have Deja Vu' make them repeat their last action before Death Urge.

Balance and fairness in mind.
