Deathly Hallows - Guesses

One of the major themes of all of the books has been adults not wanting to tell the "children" the whole truth, which leads to speculation and misbehaving on the part of the children because they don't know what's going on and go to great lengths to find out.

Molly keeps them from attending major meetings in the Order's headquarters; Dumbledore kept avoiding eye contact with Harry for whole semesters instead of telling him what the problem was. Snape is the one who wanted to lay it all on the line for Harry and the other adults wouldn't let him.

So I think the only mistake that Dumbeldore necessarily has made is not telling Harry what's what, as soon as he needed to know. But if he had, the books would have been much shorter and much more boring :) Many of the necessary plot points have come about because Harry was kept in the dark.

Oops tornado siren.. gotta go ..

Well, I don't know this hasn't been remarked on yet, but Stephen Colbert totally spoiled the ending.

Hermy is a dude.
Voldemort is the ghost of Harry's father and is actually named Rosebud.
Harry wakes up in Kansas and it was all a dream.

I don't think Harry will die. This is a kids series and I can only imagine the wailing and nightmares if Harry bites it. He will ultimately have a happy ending I think, and hope.

There's several books out now. One or two about whether or not Snape is a good guy or not and one that has "speculations on the 7th book".... "If Harry Potter Ran General Electric" (a leadership based book and others that you can find on amazon.
