Deathnet

I'm not sure if anyone here's familiar with Mutants and Masterminds, but in M&M's Crooks! villain supplement, there's a villain called Player 2, whose gimmick is technologically inducing people into a virtual reality illusion. They even have a sample of him doing so in the book's intro comic, with the speedster hero Marathon being tossed into a Pac-Man maze!

Sounds to me like merging Deathnet and Player 2 would make for a great adventure for a few sessions.

while i do really like the d20 Modern rules, when reading Deathnet my first thought was, "This'd be so much easier (and cooler) to do in M&M!"
