[Dec] What are you playing?

I just finished Dragon Quest III (GBC remake) this past weekend - great game. I only did (most) of the first end-of-game bonus dungeons, as the grinding is just too much for no benefit (just leveling up for the sake of leveling up in the bonus dungeons). And I'm certainly not going to go collect those Monster Medals to open up the second bonus dungeon...

The next game on my list of "old games I never got to" is Legend of Zelda (yeah, the very first one) (GCN version).
Finished Legend of Zelda.

Next game on the "old games I never got to yet" list: Final Fantasy Legend III (SaGa 3) (GB). It's pretty good so far, and I'm remembering how much I enjoyed the first two Final Fantasy Legend/SaGa games.

Now that winter is here, I'm back to DDR (Extreme 2) (PS2) on Workout Mode.

Also: Guitar Hero I and II with Mrs Arnwyn.

Watching: Final Fantasy IV (PS remake) while Mrs Arnwyn plays.

Finished NWN2 and Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Playing Eve as usual...

A note on SCDA: I was highly expecting it, however in the end, I was disappointed. The game was not developed by Ubisoft's Montreal studio, instead it was outsourced to Shanghai. I am sure there are a lot of fine programmers in that part of the world, but in this case the job was poorly done.

A very buggy, too-short game, it is nothing comparable to the previous nail-biting editions. You are continuously railroaded, with very few opportunities to choose your path. The fact that you are a double agent does not give you the chance of going "dark side" as it did with KotOR. (Incidentally, railroading and lack of "evil" content were also my two main beefs with NWN2's SP campaign).

Mass Effect. Until it crashes. Then I play Bug Tracker. Then I play More Mass Effect. Then I play Yell at Collision-Volume Settings. Then I play Yet More Mass Effect.

Ah, crunch.

Hey, if you were working 9AM-8PM most days and 10-4 on Saturday, you'd feel a bit tacky yourself.

However, the Damsel and I also played a little NWN OC this week, as well as Bookworm Adventures. So there's that. :)

Ock! I've done that and it's not fun. 70+ hours work weeks aren't cool but at least you are doing something that you like, right? :)

I'm currently trying to complete the Guild Wars: Prophecies campaign (after all this time :D ) so that I can then continue on with the Guild Wars: Factions campaign, and the Guild Wars: Nightfall campaign after that.

Also currently playing World of Warcraft, Sid Meier's Pirates! and Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords.

And of course, various EA Sports games now and then.
