[Dec] What are you playing?

What do you think of the controls? Especially compared to the previous games, e.g. Wind Waker.
They work wonderfully. Like all the Wii games, there's a short learning curve and then it all makes sense. Aiming the bow/clawshot/etc with the Wiimote is so easy that I just can't imagine going back anymore.

And the story is freaking amazing, to make it even better.

So, you don't have any issues with, no prolems?

I picked up the cube version, so that much I knew, but I'm curious to hear what people think of the new control scheme.

I'm about twelve hours in according to the in game clock and I'm amazed at how fast I've been acquiring items.

Not a one. Like pretty much every Wii game I've played(most of them that are out now), its extremely intuitive and you pick it up pretty quickly. Swinging the Wiimote for a sword attack and shaking the Nunchuk for the spin is perfect.

But where it really shines is what I mentioned before...aiming. You can be so insanely precise now with the bow and clawshot without having to Z-target to get things(though you can, of course).

I just can't see myself going back to playing the 'old' way now that I'm so used to the motion. It makes all the games, not just Zelda, that much easier to pick up and just go with. Mii loves Wii. :)

I've been playing Dawn of War: Dark Crusade but I downloaded a demo of Company of Heroes last night and was hooked. I'll be dropping by EBGames today on the way home from work.

Got Warhammer: Dark Crusade and Twilight Princess (GC version) for Christmas. Zelda is frikken great. I got one game of Dark Crusade in (tried out the Necrons, not liking them that much at all) and got smacked around by Chaos. I may have to try it on Easy mode

I finally beat Dark Crusade as the Space Marines last night. Immediately started up a Tau campaign, and after I finish that there are 5 more races to go. Probably the best $25 I've ever spent. [A cautionary tale to those having trouble with it: Where you attack to gain certain resources and bodyguards, and where the opposing heroes are on the map, is absolutely critical. If you attack near a guy with a huge number of bodyguards you will be getting rushed immediately by an overwhemling force. The frustration of that nearly caused me to quit the game, until it finally clicked for me how the whole thing worked.]

I picked up Company of Heroes for Christmas. Hopefully I'll get into it tonight. For those who were on the fence -- as I was initially given my lack of enthusiasm for the WWII setting -- it's only $35 at Target from now until Saturday.

At this moment I´m inside the snow globe planning to kill Winter Fang for a Word of Power.

I think that my poor monk will take a mighty beating :)

Playing through NWN 1 until NWN2 is done properly.
