December - What are you reading?

Finished Joe Abercrombie's Red Country, a combination of Fantasy and Western elements. A lot of fun, particularly due to the black comedy and the trope reversal going on.

Also read Howl's Moving Castle, which was enjoyable, though I suppose after watching the movie I was expecting something much darker.

Moved on from Conan stories and now enjoying Steven Pressfield's The Virtues of War.

I always have a ton of open books but I'm currently mainly reading Ian Banks' "Consider Phlebas". Really great stuff so far - the language and everything feels very modern which is something I am always nitpicking when I read older sci-fi books (though, to be fair, this one isn't that old).
