I say Dee, die is multiple dice, but dee. The d's an abbreviation, so my group and I say dee, either because we all think the same way, or because those who don't think like that in the group are lazy.

But, like someone said, I'm certainly not going to get all up in arms over the usage.
Like I do about drow.![]()

Pronouncing drow as cow is a pet peeve of mine, because it sounds monumentally stupid. Another one is pointing to some lame "official" pronunciation source. Usually the same one that says bullette is pronounced boo LAY.
Boneheaded WotC/TSR.

I unfortunately pronounce bulette as (Bulay [as in mule and lay]) a slight variation on the WotC/TSR one you derided. Pronounciation-wise, it just makes sense.

rotfl. literally. (how embarassing for me)The Grumpy Celt said:I say "duh," as in "Roll, duh, 5" or "Roll, duh, 10."
I really want to smack you upside the head you know that?Joshua Dyal said:I say dee as in the letter. That's what's there, after all.
