Deepwood Sniper "Keen Edge"

Just restrict the prestige class to rangers or paladins only and full spellcaster progression isn't a problem. Full progression is really only half progression when your caster level is half your level. If a prestige class has spell progression what is the ranger or paladin giving up?

All I have to say is, Atleast one level of ranger, go Deepwood sniper, and get you a Wand of Hunter's Mercy.

Bluffside

I believe the Bluffside Ranger PrC (from the Bluffside sourcebook) get +1 "Ranger" caster level with each level...

IMO Deepwood is one of the two best Archer PrC (the other being the Order of the Bow) and they seem to do a good damage every round. When they crit though it's devastating even if you're not using the level 11+ rules for DS. However arrows can go fast.
