Deleting old versions of Adobe Reader

I recently cleaned out a bunch of software I don't use and decided to get rid of Adobe Reader 5.0, since I have 6. However, after I removed it, I discovered that all my PDF files are not displayed with an adobe icon, and they don't open when I click on them. However, I can open them normally thru Adobe 6.

A minor probem; any way to fix it?

Uninstall Reader 6, and reinstall it.

Or manually set the .pdf extension to open with Reader 6, but reinstalling is probably easier, in the "rebooting cures all ills" sense of the word.
