Hi there friendly Mods and Admins! :D

This thread just got locked by Plane Sailing.

I don't care that it got locked...but because certain posts were deleted before the lock went clunk, I don't even know what the problem was.

So is this a new policy? As a member, I'd rather be able to look at a locked thread and a.) know why it was closed down, and b.) see for myself the reason for the lockage so I can (possibly) alter my own posting habits. Editing offensive stuff from posts is a long-standing policy, but this is the first time I've seen whole posts deleted.

So...whassup? Just curious. And bored. ;)

Yep. The deleted posts will almost always have a reason for deletion clause on them. If you want more details on why the post was deleted, you should email the mod in question.

Hiya Hockey Head! How've you been? I'd wonder where you'd gotten off to! I hope the family is well! :)

what's the normal turnaround time on an answer via email?

Cutter, if you remember the rules please email or PM mods about decisions - or 'report' the post and that way all moderators will see it.

Regards

Speaking for myself, I I try to reply to emails sent directly to me within a day (depending on how busy I am at work, or if I'm away on a weekend - I do my best to repond immediately, or as soon as I've disucssed the topic with the other mods, as appropriate). I know all the mods and admins are contientious, and I'm sure they'd reply within a similar timeframe.
