Delta Green d20 is coming!

Right there, it solves the biggest problem in a CoC campaign, a good reason why complete strangers team up to battle unfathomable odds. I can't wait to pick this one up.

For anyone still hestitating, here is a selection of the various Delta Green products.

Note that the worst rating the Delta Green core book gets is nine out of ten points. Its sequel, Delta Green: Countdown gets ten out of ten points... in all six reviews.

And no, the reviewers didn't get paid for that. Pagan Publishing couldn't have afforded it. ;)

So why is it the best? Can you add to this at all?

Here's a quote from the introductory chapter:

"...We have made ourselves into chattel, and the day of the slaughter is upon us. As we shuffle into the abattoir, step by herd-driven step, we see that those with the cattle-prods and those who operate the machineries of death are not inhuman monsters - but rather our neighbors, our friends, our leaders, our selves.
We have done the bidding of the Great Old Ones, far more successfully and eagerly than Wilbur Whateley or Joseph Curven ever did. The Mythos has destroyed us by allowing us to destroy ourselves. Now the time is ripe. Now the feasting may begin.
In these, the last years of the twentieth century, we may finally glimpse the fate that awaits us within the grim slaughterhouse of history. It is our end that we see, and that we seek. As a species, our surrender is complete. The Mythos has won. Now all it must do is sit back and watch as the global zeitgeist spirals down into the abyss.
Step this way. The exit is right over here. Pick up that gun, wave that fist, dump those chemicals. The abyss awaits, a maw as hungry and as insatiable as that of every newborn infant whose mere existence condemns us to a steady depletion of resources and a devaluing of our collective worth.
Could we have been more stuipid? Could we have helped the Mythos more? Could we have done a damn thing differently than the foolish choices we've made?
No. Our fate is told in the stars themselves. Our lives have no meaning, our world has no hope. Nothing lies before us but death and coleopterans..."

How's that for appetizers? ;)

Please add me to the list of the three posters above asking where do I buy it? Is there a link anywhere? :D

Jürgen, you did an awesome job selling me on the product, but now *I must have it*! :D

At the moment, there is no way of preordering it. Keep watching the website I linked to - eventually, they will sell the books from the first package they received. The rest should filter down to the regular retailers in May or June.

Link for ordering, please? Been waiting for this for years...

I think we've all been not so patiently waiting for this reprint for a decade or two (OK, it just feels like a decade).

On a related note, I really miss John Tynes's blog. The website is there but the blog bits seem to have disappeared.

Thanks to this, I just feel despondence. Like the despondence I would feel if I knew that each day that passes is just one day closer to the extermination of all so called “reality” by ancient cosmic forces the very knowledge of whose existence leads to madness.

I mean, its pretty disappointing.

Count on Jürgen to do a great synopsis on Delta Green :)

It's about bloody time. I've been waiting for this book forever, and I started asking about it on the DGML the week that CoCD20 came out.

Not that I'm actually all that crazy about the D2o stats; for the most part I like the BRP system much better for CoC... but if their's stuff I can snag for my D&D game in the book... muahahahahaha. But I'm really just happy to have a nice new hardback DG book, because mine is falling apart.

Just coincidently... just last week, I bought a special new t-shirt and mug on the internet. A Delta Green t-shirt and mug. Both are great: green triangle on front and the DG logo on back. Of course, no one in this entire godforsaken town knows what it means but me, but it's still rad just to have.

I still need to get the special DGML t-shirt they made up several years ago; I think I'll finally do that this week.
