Demonomicon issues?

Nope, no stats

True, but it's still a Demonomicon article. And, if we hope really really hard, maybe will get stats for Iggwilv! At this point, I think I'd like that more than any other demon lord out there.

Got my issue today - no stats for Iggwilv. The Demonomicon article is a Spellcraft article so it details some spells that are found in the Demonomicon for dealing with demons and gives an overview of Iggwilv's history. A good read all around, really.

Our opinions on the matter are mutually exclusive

Fortunately the contents of Dragon are not constrained by the limits of your imagination, or lack thereof.

*blink* Where the heck did that come from? Don't insult me please.

Which is why we are being treated to those fantastic Demonomicon articles

I've enjoyed the Demonomicon articles greatly, I've got some ideas for them pitched to Dragon as well, I just might typically ignore the stats for Abyssal Lords and their ilk, though if I wrote one I'd use current ones from those articles as a guideline.

Like a billion and four things in our beloved hobby, this really only becomes a problem with dodgy GMs/players ... Thinking about it, I do like the idea of the players finally getting a crack at Iggwilv at high levels and after a long campaign where she was the primary villain - after all, Star Wars wouldn't have been so cool if Luke hadn't fought Vader at the end, etc ... What I don't like is the "just another monster" effect, the "players have read the stats" effect and/or the "my character killed Iggwilv! and Iuz! and Nerull! and Tharizdun!" effect. But of course, what i do in my game is my business.

And to answer a direct question, maybe I would prefer a bunch of different stats - worked for Amber.
