that's my point. Risk costs $25. It has to be a really interesting and replayable game to cost 3 times what Risk does.

I've spent at least $100 on Agricola, and more than that on Talisman. I don't think I want to contemplate how much I've spent on Catan. Even Carcassonne with all those expansions has probably hit $60 or $80.

Of course, I'm also very picky about the games I buy, so I won't buy it unless I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Too bad I'm not going to DragonCon this year. I bet there would be a game of it running I could watch.

I am also not crazy interested in this game, particularly as it is not available from Amazon Japan. It is good to see them branching out with the boardgames though, hopefully they will develop a branch I want to buy soon.

I am really excited about this game. The fluff of the game is just as important as the rules to me and I think this game does a great job with both (as least that is my impression after reading the rules).
