Pathfinder 1E Details on Paizo's GameMastery Line

I, for one, love painting metal minis. Having the minis packaged with the encounter is a neat idea. I'm looking forward to these.

Well, since you enjoy it so much, you can paint my minis.

This is where I'm at. I'm a table top painter. by that I mean they're better than say the prepainted Mage knight or D&D ones, but definatly not showcase. Maybe a 4-6 on a 10 scale. I can drybrush, highlight, and shade. Doing layers, feathering, and some of the other techniques are in my list, but to be honest, take way too much time. (Just picked up Darkson Designs Painting Guide Volume 1... good stuff!)

For me, the lure is that it's in essence a complete scenario ready to go. I've mentioned wanting something like this for months and to actually see it gets the big thumbs up!

Got to admit I find the Ninja one a bit of a turn off, but the other compleate encounters sound promising - I like map tiles, love minis and Mike Mearls has a good reputation as a writer.

When will some more details and previews of the minis be availble?

We should have the sketches that the minis were sculpted from available by the end of the week! They are hot!!!

Good news indeed.

My personal hope is that most of the miniatures are of NPC types like the drow. Of course on the other hand, one can never have too many ninjas.

The idea behind the ninja set, incidentally, is that we asked Wayne to come up with some ninjas that hit all of the ninja visual necessities, but that would look at home in a more "western" game. I really like the ninja class in Complete Adventurer, but I don't really like the idea of a Sho Kosugi clone standing amid the heavily armored D&D figures that represent all of the other PCs in my Thursday night group. So if you don't like ninjas because your game lacks a Japan analogue, you ought to find these ones a little more appealing.

Just curious Erik, did Wayne and you use Ninja Scroll or perhaps something more recent, like Basilisk, for the basis of the designs/scuplts?
