Because a gameday is all about playing all day with ENWorlders. Also because I have no intention of going to UCon. :D Thanks for the heads-up, though. I was thinking more like later October anyway, because I have my mother-in-law coming into town early in October, so it works out for me that early October looks like it's not shaking up well.

We'll hopefully I can make it this time :)

Blue Dragon games in Shelby Township might be an option for a meeting place as well. I haven't been there but I know they have a few gaming tables.

I might run a 3.5 verison of Steading of the Hill Giant Chief with pre-gens.

I may be interested. Depends on the weekend and when I have to work at the hospital, which unfortunately is subject to change on short notice. By the way Detroiters can you help me find some of the game stores in town. I have been in the Dearborn area for two years. I have searched the phonebooks and online to try to find game stores in the area and have come up short.

I am definetly interested, I just need to see a list of games/activities before I'll say for sure. Also, where specifically would it be held?

Most likely I'd approach our last venue and ask about scheduling it there again; Pandemonium in Garden City at Ford and Middlebelt (just south of Ford Road on the east side of the street.) I'm actually leaning more towards a November date now; if I'm scheduling it, and I'm going to the Chicago Gameday on October 23rd (both true, unless someone else wants to step up and take over the scheduling reins) then that looks much more promising.

That would rock! Today me and my carpool mate (shadowlight here on the boards) are stopping by Pandemonium on the way home from work since we're leaving a little early (an advantage to being the last workday before Labor Day in a city built on the UAW...) I'll talk to Brandon (the owner) about some November dates. Once we've got one nailed down, I'll start another thread and we can start scheduling some specific games. And I'll see if I can break my record (in that new thread) for the amount of extraneous clauses (in parentheses (in one paragraph.))
