Detroit Gameday: Jan 31!! The Aftermath!!

I'm hesitant to sign up for an afternoon game until I see for sure what's going to be run. I'm interested in QB's CoC, but it sounds like I've already played that module with him, so I probably should pass. I'm also interested in Mutants and Masterminds supers, but I could certainly play AU, or a few other games for that matter, as well.

Here is the event I will run (I am the individual Geeko referred to). This is one of the events we will be running at Origins/GenCon. I use a digital mapping tool for combat that works very well and is very fun to play with. If you have never tried the Hero System, now is your opportunity. The game is designed to be an introduction to the game, as well as Narosia: Sea of Tears, a new official world setting for Hero System.

Description
You've been an escort before -- it isn't an uncommon thing for many adventurers. However, a nobleman must travel 2000 miles in 2 days and has employed you provide security on his journey, security apparently his retinue of guards cannot provide. Difficulty: No experience required/Rules will be taught/Rules are medium to complex

I will also bring a Savage Fantasy (Savage Worlds) if it seems to fit the schedule. Savage Worlds is a hoot, and great for fast, pick-me-up games.

I would love to come, but it I have a game on the 31st and this will be the first session in a month - and I don't want to miss it. Unfortunately, I live 2 hours away from the Detroit area, so driving there for a morning game and back isn't really feasable. Next time we have this, I would be happy to attend!

I think I'll start a list on the main post of the pick-up type games people will be bringing. These are great for games that finish early.

Two of my players have given a definite thumbs up for the Gameday so far. Both Alex and Franz would like the remaining slots in the morning KotB 3.5 game. In the afternoon, Alex will play in mudpyr8's Hellgate, while Franz has asked to play Mutants & Masterminds.

We may want to start searching for another set morning game at this juncture. One of my players who has yet to chime in loves to run one shot adventures, so he may volunteer. I'll let you know by this weekend.

If there is demand for Savage Worlds, I will run it and bow out of the KotB game which has plenty of gamers. However, I don't want to lose my spot in KotB to commit to a game no one wants to play.

Description: All the applications are in, and you have been accepted to Clairemont University. While state funding has callapsed, alumni have stepped forward and the school year seems to be on schedule. You were a bit weirded out by the required Special Aptitudes Minor, but your bags are packed and summer has come to a close.

The Lo-down: Since you can't be here with me, I'll be pregenerating stats, based on what you give me. Characters will be PL 10, and errata will be used.
