Woo! First one to post after getting home! :)

That was one helluva blast, y'all. I'm glad I took the plunge to run my game, in which, and I quote someone else, "I think we've used every special attack in the book!"

More of a report later, but I'll see y'all at the next one!

That was one helluva game, Laz. I applaud you, and it's all we talked about for the first half-hour of the ride home. :)

I'm uploading pictures from the Gameday now, so y'all can check them out at: my website

Also, for everyone I mentioned it to, here is the URL for Foundations GameCon in March / September. (Yes a twice-a-year con.) - Not much up for RPG's yet, but it's because they need more DM's! :)

I want to begin my post-Gameday remarks by thanking Shadowlight and JD for throwing this event together. After months of talk and chatter, your determination finally paid off in making our vision a very pleasant reality.

As for the event itself, I for one had a great time! Just about everyone who said they'd be there showed, and we even had a few extras pop in during the course of the day. The games seemed full of action and excitement based on the level of enthusiastic conversation rising forth from each of the tables.

Josh's Tea Party adventure was quite fun, and perhaps the most memorable array of low level encounters in D&D history. After all, how often do 3rd level adventurers summon AND vanquish Orcus in the same evening ?!?

I also want to thank everyone who participated in my Motor City Infest CoC game. That ranks as one of the two or three most entertaining sessions of Cthulhu I've ever been a part of. Just plain fun!! And as a special gift to those who endured the horror, I will be sending you each a pdf or zip file (or two) later today.

I will either force Alex to register and post the photos he took, or handle that myself later this week. Maybe Shadowlight or Josh can start an afterglow Gameday thread instead of stacking more pages here. In any case, it was great meeting you all, and I look forward to seeing you at future events both here and abroad.

P.S. to Kender42 -- Our gang will look into Foundations. Thanks for the head's up!

Yes, mega-kudos to our two hosts and organizers, and everyone else that came. There was plenty of room to get more people in that area we were in. Hope it becomes a regular (i.e. annual or bi-annual) event and maybe even grows. I know this is mostly a d20 crowd - I'm mostly a d20 player myself - but I thought having mudpyr8 there running Hero added some extra flavor to the event...more like a mini-con.

And thanks for posting pics kender!

later all!

I just realized that neither A2Z or Tauric have email addresses listed in their profile, making it very difficult for me to send them their "gift" for playing in the afternoon Cthulhu game.

So, Adam and Eric please send them to me at the email link listed in all of my replies. Adam, you can also send me Shaun's email or forward him a copy of the items once you've received them.

Stockdale and JD, yours will arrive shortly .

Thanks a lot. I had a great time. I've updated the www.narosia.com website with a posting about the day's events, and look forward to the next one. I think the venue was great.

Thanks for all of your efforts.

What fun

Well that was a fun day. Finally had time to sign up for the forums. Had a blast playing Keep and Whose Sword was this. (my name tag was skip for the the day)

Must do that again someday.

Finally back at a computer after the weekend. I'm forced to chime in reagrding what a great time this was. Thank you JDyal and Shawdowlight for making it possible. I had a great time playing in Dyal's Dutchess' Tea Party and Quickbeam's Motor City Infest (More COC - What a riot).

I am all for making this a bi-annual thing.

Thank you all again. It was pleasure meeting all the participants.

John
